A) The intradermal test with V. B. S. antigen was performed on 48 pulmonary paragonimiasis patients. The method employed and the results were as follows.
1) Eggs of paragonimus were found in the sputum of these 48 patients,
2) About 0,005 to 0.01cc of V. B. S. antigen was injected intradermaly on the inner side of forearm to make a wheel around 4x 4mm in diameter, and the exact diameter were measured (a x b), 15minutes later the wheel was measured again (a¢¥ X b¢¥) and the difference between them was calculated.
3) In 2 cases D=1.0 In 1 case D=2.5 In 1 case D=3.0
In 4 cases D=4.0 In 2 cases D=4.0
In the . rest of the cases, D was, or was more than 5.0
B) W.B.C. count and analysis of these 48 patients were made.
1) Average W.B.C. count was 10,000
2) Eosinophils were .7.64% in average.
C) There was no distinctive correlationship between the reult of the skin test.
